Dr. Rahul Sreekumar is a Consultant Hepatobiliary and Liver Transplant Surgeon with 17 years of experience with academic and clinical background. He has been trained at leading UK institutions, along with a Fellowship from Harvard Medical School. His surgical expertise includes complex hepatobiliary and pancreatic resections, living donor liver transplantation (LDLT), and minimally invasive surgery. He has been directly involved in over 200 adult and paediatric LDLTs and also performs major liver and pancreatic resections, and currently contributes to both operative and perioperative management of complex HPB and transplant patients. Dr. Rahul graduated with First-Class Honours in Biomedical Sciences and earned his BM Medicine with Distinction from the University of Southampton. He subsequently completed a PhD from University of Southampton, followed by FRCS (Royal College of Surgeons, England) and CCT from General Medical Council. Throughout his surgical training, he has combined advanced operative experience with a strong commitment to academic surgery. He has also been awarded multiple national and international prizes, including the Moynihan Medal by the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland. He is actively engaged in clinical education, research supervision, and multidisciplinary team leadership. Dr. Rahul Sreekumar is committed to driving innovation in Hepatobiliary and transplant surgery through the integration of cutting-edge clinical practice with impactful scientific research. His areas of interest includes Benign Upper GI surgery, Liver and Pancreatic Surgery , Liver transplantation , Colonic Cancer and Colorectal Liver Metastasis.
